Chie Mihara Spring '12 Collection
Posted on April 16 2012
What started as an experiment and an exercise in restraint (Courtney and I both have years of shoe sales experience and a serious hoarding problem with fancy footwear) has turned into a bona-fide shoe department here at Lille! We began with a tiny selection of Chie Mihara, my favorite bunion- and broken-back-friendly high heels, then we added a few of the amazing 1920's and 30's reproduction styles by Remix Vintage Shoes, which quickly gained a fan following. Now we've brought in classic, affordable canvas ballet flats from Nina Payne, with her low-heel, dance-inspired oxfords in fashion-forward colors coming soon. The dancewear trend continues with our newest addition, Bloch, on the horizon. Bloch shoes were my favorite when I was a dancer, owing to their comfort and durability, and their fashion footwear is no exception. Look for patent leather ballet flats and lace-up oxfords in creamy shades of grey, taupe and ecru this Spring! Now that these amazing brands have become a permanent part of our beloved collections, we're buying more and more styles each season, so you can find no less than a dozen different styles from each brand here, with the selection divided between Lille Boutique and Lille Trousseau. Finding fashionable bridal shoes has always been a huge challenge, so we have really focused on fulfilling that need for our lovely brides-to-be and their bridesmaids. Classic options abound, but we love it when ladies opt for something unconventional like a Mustard Yellow Mary Jane or a bold Cobalt Blue Peep Toe. The gorgeous bride pictured above is Beth, who kindly shared a photo from her wedding where she is sporting the Chie Mihara Liron T-Strap heels that she bought at Lille. She looks (and more importantly, feels) fantastic! Thanks so much to her and to Honeysuckle Photography for sharing. Be sure to check out the latest selection of ivory and gold Bridal Collection Chie Miharas at Lille Trousseau if you are seeking fabulous footwear for your upcoming nuptials!
