Earth Day Giveaway

Earth Day 2021 brings the hope of progress toward sustained climate activism and environmental protection. America has rejoined the Paris Agreement and with a new administration that believes in science, we are confident that things are moving forward in the direction of real, tangible change.

To celebrate our excitement, we've partnered with two of our favorite local women-owned businesses, Coy & Co. and Vivienne Kitchen & Pantry, to do an Instagram giveaway in celebration of Earth Day! All you need to do is go to our Instagram page, like our Earth Day Giveaway post, follow all the brands tagged in the photo, tag two friends, and tell us your favorite way to practice sustainability. That's it! We'll announce the winner next Wednesday, the 28th.

Up for grabs is the cutest sustainable picnic date! A Baserange Bamboo Soft Bra from the Spring 21 collection in the brand new fashion-forward color of Ara Green and an Only Hearts 100% Cotton Face Mask covered in rainbow hearts. It's obvious that you'll need a new face mask and bra to romp around in for your picnic date! A bouquet of locally grown flowers from Coy & Co to really set the mood, and a picnic basket from Vivienne's Kitchen & Pantry that is as adorable as it is delicious! Wine? Check. Cute plates with cloth napkins? Check. Picnic classics like salad, cheese and crackers, and tea cake? CHECK!

**Due to our inability to safely ship flowers and food, this giveaway is limited to those in the Portland area.

Coy & Co. is Portland's first sustainably certified florist! They use 100% local flowers and foliage year round. They never use any type of single-use plastic or materials wrapped in single-use plastic, they compost locally, and they dry any leftover product to be used when local flower sources are scarce during the dead of winter greatly reducing their waste output.

Vivienne Kitchen & Pantry is a local restaurant that creates curated seasonal food and drink. They shop the local farmer markets when possible for fresh produce. They're also involved in the GOBOXPDX program that offers zero waste reusable containers and cups for to go orders.

Lille has always made it a priority to carry sustainable brands that strive to use green production practices, natural fibers, and are conscious of reducing waste. Baserange has always been a favorite for its clean lines and easy silhouettes. They work closely with innovative vendors to develop high quality textiles from both natural fibers and recycled content while choosing to work exclusively with family based factories that are based in small towns in Portugal, close to Base Range's headquarters.

We are so excited and honored to get to work with others that are equally committed to striving for continued sustainable practices to lower our overall impact on mother earth. Happy earth day, everyone!
