Gatsby Teddy

I experimented with a new style just before the last fashion show, and while I am pleased with the results, it nearly drove me to quit sewing altogether. Working with silk charmeuse on the bias is tricky, and I procrastinated, as usual, so I was working on the finishing touches at around midnight when my machine decided to take a huge bite out of the hem. Fortunately, I had room to spare, so I was able to salvage the garment, but instead of being a modest, mid-thigh length romper, it is now a jaunty little derriere-grazing teddy.
