Introducing Iodus Swimwear
In our quest for an affordable alternative to Eres swimwear, we were so delighted to discover Iodus during our market trip to Paris last season. Classic, but modern shapes, with gorgeous, architectural lines in fashion-forward colors are the cornerstone of this young French label, which was founded by Pierre Martinez, one of the original designers of Princesse Tam Tam and a good friend of Assya Hiridjee, the founder of PTT who has since gone on to create the iconic label Monette Paris. Inspired by the lines in ballerinas' wardrobes--particularly the leg-line on a leotard--the maillots are modest, but effortlessly sexy in that covered-up, quintessentially French way. The fit is exceptional, and the materials are the absolute best, so you'll be shocked to find that the retail prices are so reasonable ($150-225.) Our Spring '14 shipment is scheduled to ship from France any day now, but sizes and quantities are limited, so be sure to contact us if you'd like to be informed upon arrival!
