LeBrie Rich
LeBrie Rich's work emphasizes experimentation in materials, as well as processes, and often features pattern, print and fiber. She makes both temporary and permanent work for diverse settings, including museums, galleries, storefront windows, art vending machines, and craft shows. We are honored to have several of her colorful collages up in the shop for the month of December, with a First Friday Artist's Reception tonight from 7-9pm. She first began working on these collages just before leaving on a 3-month trip to Japan last spring. She continued working on them while in Japan where she discovered and collected many paper types, both handmade and mass produced. Although the finished collages always seem to suggest certain objects, beings, or situations, her process is entirely intuitive. We hope to see you tonight for champagne and cookies, as we toast to her success and the start of the holiday season! This evening only, take 10% off all new regularly priced merchandise. See you soon...
