Orly Genger by Jaclyn Meyer
Have you seen the amazing new Orly Genger by Jaclyn Meyer jewelry gracing our display case this week? Cast climbing rope blends in harmony with knotted zebra print and heavy brass chains, for a look that is decidedly modern and unique. Tapped by VPL designer Victoria Bartlett to collaborate on jewelry for her runway shows, Brown University graduate Orly Genger happily obliged. She even created a huge art installation at the VPL showroom in Soho that involved weaving models into hundreds of miles of rope. We love the tactile, dimensional feel of her work and think it will really speak to the ladies of Portland, who are as comfortable in avant-garde fashion as they are in jeans and a t-shirt (both of which will work with these versatile accessories!)
