Spring Cleaning

Spring Cleaning
This weekend, my husband and I decided that our bedroom needed a face-lift. Besides the fact that it is still under construction, with holes in the walls and no doors on the closets, it had just become a repository for our stuff, rather than an oasis for us to retire to at the end of a long day. We moved all the furniture around, created cozy little nooks for reading, changed the curtains and bedding, and dusted like crazy. The final touch was a heavenly candle from Red Flower to fill the air with a clean, gentle fragrance. I was torn between the Indian Jasmine and the Japanese Peony, but ultimately decided on the latter since the scent is so calming. If you are like me, and these gray Spring days are getting you down, I highly recommend this ritual of Spring Cleaning, topped off with the affordable indulgence of an organic Red Flower candle and perhaps a cup of their soothing Lavender Tea. I guarantee it will make these last days of interminable rain a little more bearable!
